I know what it looks like to be beyond capable. To be brilliant at what you do, but not yet fully positioned, recognised, or paid for the level you operate at.
I started at £12 an hour as a Virtual Assistant - trading time for money, delivering results above and beyond what I was paid for. Feeling resentful. Exhausted. Pissed off at the lack of recognition.
But things changed when I realised that being capable wasn't enough. Now, ten years later:
